Russia has started making its own machines for automatic riveting of aircraft panels. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, during a government hour in the State Duma.
According to him, the first installation has already been sent to an enterprise in Nizhny Novgorod. It is planned to supply four more such automatic machines in 2026-2027.
In connection with the technological track, we are laying down end-to-end digitalization of aircraft construction, from design to testing, reducing labor costs and working with personnel. In general, following the implementation of the program, we plan to increase the productivity of 16 key enterprises in the industry by more than 30%.
First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov explained that the shift to the right in the timing of the release of MS-21 aircraft is due to the need to fully transfer the industry to domestic solutions.
The politician noted that Russia had to rework the entire list of systems and units for 100% own production.
Earlier www1.ru reported that «ODK-Klimov» revealed all stages of production of aircraft engines for Il-114-300 and «Ansat».
