Recently, there have been reports of isolated cases of high-explosive air bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC) appearing in the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 150 kilometers.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation of this event, nor clarifications regarding the details. However, according to military experts, such a range was achieved thanks to the latest version of the universal planning module with a combat engine (UMPB D-30), which is a long-range version of a gliding munition with a jet engine.
UMPB D-30SN (unified interspecific gliding munition) is considered a modern Russian long-range high-precision munition designed to engage important enemy targets at long ranges. The development of the D-30SN is aimed at increasing the tactical and operational effectiveness of 300 mm caliber MLRS and aviation weapons systems of operational-tactical aviation.
Earlier www1.ru reported that guided missiles MLRS "Tornado-S" equipped with modernized noise-protected GLONASS/GPS correction modules.
