According to information from the publication "Chinese Automobiles", the "Moskvich" crossover, created on the basis of the MG HS from SAIC, has successfully passed vehicle type certification in Russia. This approval paves the way for its production and sale on the Russian market. It is assumed that the new model will be called "Moskvich M70".
MG HS is a fairly large crossover with dimensions of 4655 x 1890 x 1630 mm and a wheelbase of 2765 mm. The basic version is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 172 horsepower in combination with a 7-speed robotic gearbox.
Top configurations offer a more powerful option — a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 231 hp paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Consequently, the expected "Moskvich M70" could potentially become the brand's first model equipped with a 9-speed "automatic", provided that the technical characteristics are not changed during adaptation to Russian operating conditions.
MG HS does not have all-wheel drive. Available options include two 12.3-inch displays, leather interior trim, a panoramic roof, and a wireless charging device for mobile phones.
Earlier www1.ru reported that dealers have revealed the price list for the new Russian minibus Sollers SP7.
