В небе Салехарда в честь 80-летия Победы зажгли огни масштабным шоу дронов

A new record for the number of quadcopters participating in a 3D show has been set in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug

A record-breaking drone show in Russia was presented by Geoscan in collaboration with the "Movement of the First" in honor of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. In the night sky of Salekhard, 2,500 quadcopters equipped with LEDs depicted 10 large-scale paintings based on drawings by children who were laureates of the All-Russian art contest "Sky of Victories".

With the help of 3D illumination, the path of the Soviet people in the struggle for peace was shown — farewell to the war, battle scenes, letters to the front, the joy of Victory and a peaceful sky. The show was based on the best works from more than 3,800 drawings by children and adolescents from 84 regions of Russia. The record-breaking element, for the execution of which 2,500 drones were used, was the official logo of the 80th anniversary of Victory — the image of the Motherland, a symbol of the indomitable spirit, self-sacrifice, heroism and a call to fight.

This form of innovative art helps to convey the memory of important historical events of our country in the language of youth — with the help of modern technologies. We received many outstanding drawings with original compositions from the participants of the "Sky of Victories" competition, and their image in the form of a drone show became a non-standard task for our team. But experience and our own developments allowed us to bring to life even the most complex and daring ideas

The young authors of the drawings were invited to Salekhard to see the result of their work live. Roman Bogatyrev, Head of the Project Management Department of the "Movement of the First", noted the contribution of the participants of the Movement of the First to the creation of the show.

We saw how children's drawings came to life in the sky, becoming a symbol of our common memory and the continuity of generations. This project clearly showed that the participants of the Movement of the First not only honor history — they actively rethink it, using modern technologies. Thanks to their creativity, together with Geoscan, we were able to create a unique event that proves: the feat of our heroes will never be forgotten, and the memory of the Great Victory continues to inspire achievements

This year, in addition to celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Salekhard was awarded the title of "City of Labor Valor". The Deputy Governor of the district commented on the event and gave his assessment of the large-scale event.

We are very glad that we had the opportunity to give this holiday to the residents of the regional capital. This is not just a light show, but a synthesis of art and programming, thanks to which it is possible to attract children to technical creativity, to help them decide on their future profession. And the master classes within the framework of the event, organized jointly with Geoscan, expanded the competencies of teachers. We hope to see our children among the winners of all-Russian competitions held by the Movement of the First in this area next year. We will make every effort to do this
Evgeny Gurariy, Deputy Governor of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug

As a reminder, Geoscan Group set the previous record in 2020 in St. Petersburg as part of the "Peaceful Sky" campaign, timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II. Then the company launched 2198 quadcopters into the sky, which lined up in a three-dimensional image of a dove of peace.
