The Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau of the USC presented a number of new projects of small vessels at the NEVA 2025 exhibition. The head of projects of the design bureau of the USC, Yaroslav Roman, spoke about the developments.
The multifunctional service and utility boat of the Ice3 class of the Nerpa project was created to serve the port water area. The vessel is designed to eliminate oil spills, extinguish fires, transport cargo (its carrying capacity is up to 5 tons) and transport 10 passengers and 3 crew members. The project is fully import-substituted and equipped with a domestic power plant from KAMAZ.
The design bureau also developed conceptual projects of pilot boats:
Multifunctional pilot boat with the function of a tugboat of the LS005B project with a length of 20.5 m can deliver 8 pilots and develop a speed of up to 10.5 knots with a bollard pull of about 20 tons.
Pilot boat of increased seaworthiness of the LS007 project with a length of 30 m is designed to deliver 12 pilots in sea conditions up to 6 points and can develop a speed of at least 15 knots.
Hybrid yacht with a length of 43 m, designed to accommodate 10 guests. The vessel is equipped with a Russian gas piston engine with a capacity of 500 kW manufactured by YaMZ.
The yacht can operate without gas generators for 4 hours and ensure the operation of ship systems for 8 hours. Cruising range is 1000 miles. The use of gas instead of diesel fuel reduces emissions into the water area to zero.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the largest shipbuilding plant Krasnoye Sormovo and Severnaya Verf are being modernized.
