The "Nobel Brothers Shipyard" LLC (part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) successfully completed the third stage of construction of the icebreaking tug "Narvskaya Zastava" of the class "КМ Arc4 [1] R3- RSN AUT2 Tug" of the project 3262. This was reported by the press service of the concern.
The fully formed hull of the vessel was accepted by the customer — the Committee for Nature Use, Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety of St. Petersburg, as well as the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
Experts note that "Narvskaya Zastava" is a rather complex tug to build. Despite its modest size — 42.5 meters in length, the vessel has a number of design features, including a lifting and lowering wheelhouse and tilting masts and antennas. This allows the vessel to pass under numerous bridges on the Neva.
The tug also performs a rescue function. It is equipped with hydrants for extinguishing fires and can participate in emergency rescue operations and oil spill response.
The next stage of construction includes насыщение корпуса основным судовым комплектующим оборудованием, трубопроводами и системами электромонтажа, а также установку главной энергетической установки. After that, the vessel will be launched and completed on the water, as well as mooring and state tests. The delivery of the tug to the customer is scheduled for December 2026.
The operation of the icebreaking tug of project 3262 is предполагается mainly in the waters of the Neva and Svir rivers along the entire length of the navigable routes, Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega, in the coastal areas of the Gulf of Finland adjacent to the territory of the Leningrad Region.
