Seven aircraft, three helicopters and six types of aircraft engines have reached the certification stage in Russia, Dmitry Yadrov, head of Rosaviatsia, said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
According to him, domestic aviation equipment will allow the country to become completely independent in the industry.
And here Rosaviatsia is a key factor, because we carry out certification of aviation equipment. Currently, we have ten types of aircraft under certification - seven aircraft, three helicopters and six types of aircraft engines.
New LMS-901 "Baikal" aircraft are being developed in Russia to replace the Soviet An-2, but the turboprop machines have still not taken to the skies due to problems with aerodynamics.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia will invest 765 billion rubles in the project "Production of aircraft and helicopters".
