От Сочи до Сухума за 2,5 часа: пассажирское судно на подводных крыльях «Комета-120М» совершило первый рейс

The high-speed ship "Cosmonaut Pavel Popovich" in test mode covered the distance between the two resort cities with a full load twice as fast as land transport

On August 6, FSUE Rosmorport launched a test voyage of the passenger hydrofoil "Cosmonaut Pavel Popovich" ("Kometa 120M") on the Sochi – Sukhum route.

FSUE Rosmorport became the operator of the first voyage of the "Kometa", which in the future can permanently connect Sochi and Sukhum. This modern vessel develops a speed of up to 65 km/h, thanks to which its passengers will reach the capital of Abkhazia in 2.5 hours. This is currently the fastest route, as the journey by rail on the "Lastochka" takes more than 4 hours, about the same by car. And in addition, tourists will enjoy stunning views of the Black Sea coast
