The administration of St. Petersburg has launched testing of a neural network from ITMO, designed to select candidates for public service. At the first stage, artificial intelligence will be trained by analyzing the data of applicants seeking to join the youth personnel reserve.
Smolny reports that this is the first case of using artificial intelligence (AI) in personnel management. It is noted that the "Gennady" robot has been helping personnel services for two years. The city administration intends to use the neural network to optimize work with personnel. Candidates wishing to work in the civil service submit applications for the formation of a youth personnel reserve. AI analyzes applications for correctness of filling and matching biographical data. If errors, unconfirmed experience, or other discrepancies are found, the application is returned for revision. If everything is in order, the AI enters the application into the reserve database. Final approval remains with the personnel service employee, who conducts the final check.
