The Judicial Department under the Supreme Court of Russia ordered 2079 "Khibiny N212" servers from the Russian manufacturer RDW Computers. The contract amount is 1.8 billion rubles, or about 865.8 thousand rubles per device. The supplier is Tegrus, with whom the contract was concluded on June 27, 2025.
The first 20 test servers were to be delivered by July 4, but the deadlines were missed. Tegrus paid a fine of 100 thousand rubles. The purchase was carried out under Law 44-FZ, which requires the use of domestic products. The "Khibiny N212" servers are certified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which makes them eligible for public procurement.
Experts believe that such a large-scale replacement of equipment is a step towards creating a unified IT infrastructure for the judicial system. Alexey Postrigailo from Ensight suggested that the servers could be used to modernize the "Justice" system. The delivery of the entire batch will take from six weeks to six months, depending on the manufacturer's workload.
Despite the Russian marking, the servers are likely assembled from foreign components. Previously, RDW Computers reported that the "Khibiny" servers run on Intel Xeon processors.
