It says that the MC-21 aircraft has risen in price to 7.6 billion rubles in two years. At the same time, in the summer of 2023, the State Transport Leasing Company (ГТЛК), excluding subsidies from the National Welfare Fund (ФНБ), estimated the aircraft at 4.3–4.6 billion rubles.

The cost of the AN-2 replacement, the "Baikal", has also increased, to 315–320 million rubles.

Rostec explained that as the production of aircraft increases, the price will begin to decrease, and significantly.

A program is being developed with airlines and the relevant departments to reduce the cost of aircraft, which will yield results in the future up to 2030. Even now, when comparing prices for foreign and our aircraft, the difference is insignificant.
