Число производственно-промышленных кластеров в Тульской области вырастет до 15

Seven clusters in five industries will appear in the region in 2026

Seven new production and educational clusters will be created in the Tula region in 2026 as part of the federal project "Professionalitet", bringing the total number of clusters in the region to fifteen. This was announced by Governor Dmitry Milyaev at SPIEF-2025.

Eight clusters are already operating in the region, covering key industries: mechanical engineering, agriculture, chemical industry (three clusters), tourism and services (two clusters), as well as media and communication technologies.

In 2026, seven more clusters will appear in five sectors of the economy: two in mechanical engineering, one each in chemistry, radio electronics, agriculture, pedagogy, and medicine.

The Advanced Engineering School "Intelligent Defense Systems" operates in the region on the basis of Tula State University. Here, students are trained according to a practice-oriented model: during their studies, they develop projects for specific production orders and undergo internships at enterprises.

In addition, it is planned to create an interuniversity defense campus on the basis of Tula State University and the L. N. Tolstoy Tula State Pedagogical University.

In general, 26 colleges and more than 70 enterprises and organizations of the Tula region will be involved in the development of production and educational clusters in the region.
