The exact number of SJ-100 and MC-21 aircraft that will be delivered to Russian airlines in the coming years is still impossible to name - the current plans are indicative. This was stated by the head of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Vadim Badeha.
According to him, the initial plans announced in 2022, after the decision to replace foreign aircraft with domestic ones, were a "mobilization super-task" on the part of the state. They "did not fit into the business logic" of either UAC itself or the airlines.
No one has ever created anything in such a time frame. They were initially not just tense, but almost impossible.
At the same time, Badeha noted that the development schedule "was not taken from the ceiling", but manufacturers and component suppliers "were not in the best shape". This, according to him, creates a skeptical attitude towards domestic aircraft on the part of the market.
The situation is complicated by the simultaneous work on three new models at once - SJ 100, MC-21 and Il-114-300, which is an unprecedented burden even by world standards. None of these aircraft have yet been certified, and the timing of their deliveries has been repeatedly postponed, Badeha added.
Earlierwww1.ru reported thatODK revealed the technology of "growing" blades for PD-8 and PD-14 aircraft engines.
