The production plans for the MC-21, announced by Rostec, may well exceed Aeroflot's plans to receive more than 100 of these aircraft by 2030. This was stated by Oleg Panteleev, Executive Director of Aviaport agency.
Even if we do not reach the assembly rate of 72 MC-21s per year in this horizon, and such plans are outlined in the comprehensive program for the development of the aviation industry, then assembling more than 100 aircraft is a feasible task.
According to him, this is possible, based on the assembly rate for which production is currently being modernized both at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant and at contractors — suppliers of component products.
Earlier www1.ru reported that funds for the modernization of the Tu-214 will be allocated from the Russian-Chinese aircraft project.
