This was stated by the scientific director of TsAGI named after Zhukovsky, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Sergei Chernyshev.
It is necessary not just to copy foreign analogues, but to make it better, despite the fact that the most modern foreign systems were installed on the previous version of the MC-21. We have achievements that we can be proud of: aircraft control systems based on integrated modular avionics, high-strength landing gear, air conditioning systems, anti-icing systems.
According to him, specialists in these areas have achieved impressive results in the shortest possible time.
Today we can confidently say that, using our experience and knowledge, we will be able to do with domestic developments in aircraft construction, not inferior to foreign ones in any way. These are not just empty words, but specific test results, which, at least in the field of aircraft construction, will soon be visible to everyone.
