Aurora Airlines, Aeroflot's strategic partner in the Far East, will implement digital portfolios for pilots - FlyBag, developed by the group's IT division - AFLT-Systems. The solution will replace foreign counterparts and optimize flight preparation, navigation, and document management.
FlyBag software runs on the Russian OS Aurora and is installed on T1100 tablets manufactured by F+tech. It combines:
- Electronic briefing package (flight plan, weather data, aircraft information);
- Aeronautical charts with routes, airfield diagrams, and terrain;
- Digital library with ICAO and airline documents;
- Tools for reporting (fuel request, electronic signatures, data exchange with ground services).
The parties will rely on the expertise of specialists from Aurora's flight directorate and aeronautical support department to accurately address the needs of pilots and the airline.
According to AFLT-Systems, the main advantages of domestic software are its high quality, compliance with industrial requirements, and the ability to quickly make changes and expand functionality.
In October 2024, Aeroflot begantrial operation of the electronic portfolio for flight crews. By 2030, it is planned to completely abandon foreign software. The Crew Tablet application has also been developed for crews, simplifying the work of flight attendants.
