With a Capacity of About 650 MW: Russia's Largest Solar Power Plant to Be Built in the Amur Region

The plant will generate up to 1 billion kWh of electricity per year

Unigreen Energy plans to build Russia's largest solar power plant in the Amur Region, with a capacity of about 650 MW, the company's press service reported.

An agreement of intent for the construction was signed between Unigreen Energy and the regional government this year. The new solar plant will generate up to 1 billion kWh of electricity per year and will be an important step towards overcoming the energy deficit in the region.

The construction of the power plant will use Russian solar modules, distribution transformer substations, cable products, and software.
