Large freezer fishing trawlers "Kapitan Yunak" and "Mechanic Shcherbakov" are being built at the Admiralty Shipyards. Currently, the ST-192 project vessels are moored at the outfitting berth. This was reported by the press service of the shipbuilding enterprise.
The trawlers are being fitted with main cable, painting and insulation of premises. In May, "Kapitan Yunak" will be sent for docking (inspection, painting of the underwater part), and the launch of the main engine on "Mechanic Shcherbakov" is scheduled for June.
In addition, the hulls of the trawlers "Kapitan Ipatov" and "Alexander Buzakov" are being actively formed on the slipway. Their launching is scheduled for 2026.
The construction is being carried out by order of the Russian Fishery Company (РРПК). Four supertrawlers of this project ("Kapitan Vdovichenko", "Mechanic Maslak", "Mechanic Sizov" and "Kapitan Martynov") are fishing in the Far East. The lead ship — "Kapitan Vdovichenko" — was launched five years ago.
Characteristics of ST-192 trawlers: the capacity of cargo holds is 5320 sq. meters, length — 108.2 m, width — 21 m, fuel reserves — for 45 days, crew — up to 155 people, speed — 16 knots.
