The modernized UAZ "Patriot" will receive a new media system and an electromechanical transfer case. Tests of the car have already begun at the training grounds, engineers have driven it over 4000 km.
A feature of the gearbox for UAZ is a cable drive. Vibrations on the lever have decreased, gears will shift more smoothly and accurately, the location and gear shifting mechanism on a separate podium will significantly improve ease of operation.
The updated "Patriot" will be released on the market in late autumn, and it will have a number of other innovations: the SUV will receive a new media system, softer engine mounts, LED optics and an electromechanical transfer case.
