The Trade and Finance Company (TFK) "KamAZ" has handed over a new KamAZ-65952 all-wheel drive dump truck to JSC "Gazstroyproekt" for testing at the Kovykta field in the Irkutsk region. The K5 generation vehicle will transport cargo. This was reported by the plant's press service.
The dump truck will be tested for a month in off-road conditions.
Due to the reinforced axles and frame, the KamAZ-65952 has an increased payload capacity (23.5 tons), while the total weight of the vehicle is 41 tons.
The vehicle is equipped with a six-cylinder in-line KAMAZ P6 engine with a capacity of 482 hp and a 16-speed manual transmission.
The dump truck can be operated at large infrastructure facilities in the construction sector, in mining and sand quarries. The main features of the KamAZ-65952 are high ground clearance, a metal three-section front bumper, and all-wheel drive. The vehicle has a comfortable steering wheel and an on-board information system with an integrated touch screen display.
