The Russian military has begun receiving multi-caliber sniper rifles "Arkuda Tactics." The weapon is equipped with quick-change barrels that allow it to work in a wide range of calibers.
The rifle allows fighters to "understand" the weapon, develop shooting skills, the so-called shooting practice, on a cheaper 308 caliber ammunition.
Then, when performing a combat mission at a long, ultra-long distance, we screw in a barrel, for example, 338 caliber, and work directly on the target.
The weight of the rifle varies from 6.1 to 6.5 kg, depending on the additional equipment and the selected barrel. It can operate at a distance of up to 2.2 km.
The rifle certainly has its pros and cons. For example, the firing range and accuracy are good. The weight is not small - more than 6 kg. In battle, most likely, they will use one barrel. You won't run much with several barrels - this is extra weight. But at the same time, it will be useful to a sniper in a stationary position.
