The "STAN" Machine Tool Holding (part of Rostec) has created a fully domestic five-axis VMB 800 machine. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.
The import-substituted milling machine is designed for high-precision processing of cast housing parts used in aircraft and helicopter construction.
The design features of the VMB 800 minimize vibrations. This allows for obtaining parts with excellent geometric quality.
Including interceptors (reduce lift on an aircraft wing), elements of the tail assembly's power frame, and others.
