The Ural Works of Civil Aviation (UWCA) will present the UTS-800 training aircraft for the first time at the international arms exhibition IDEX 2025, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from February 17 to 21. The premiere of the export model will take place in the form of a mock-up and will be part of the joint Russian exposition.
The UTS-800 training aircraft is designed for professional selection of cadets and initial flight training. A representative of the plant noted that, depending on the volume of purchases by a potential foreign customer and the possibility of financing R&D, UWCA does not exclude the possibility of refining the aircraft and adapting it to specific units at the request of the buyer.
The crew of the UTS-800 consists of two people located in tandem: a cadet in the front cockpit, an instructor in the second. The aircraft can also be piloted by one pilot, and there is no need to install cargo to center the aircraft.
The UTS-800 is equipped with a standard oxygen system and ejection seats, an air conditioning system and an anti-icing system. To ensure increased tolerance of the pilot to aerobatic overloads, there is an anti-G suit. Permissible overloads on the UTS-800 are from +7 to -4.
The operating temperature range of the UTS-800 is from -30°C to +45°C. The maximum speed is 460 km/h, the maximum permissible flight altitude is 6000 m, and the flight range is 1200 km. It can take off from runways with unpaved and artificial surfaces.
Modern avionics with an open architecture, which allows you to simulate various tactical situations. The head-up display and multifunctional displays provide pilots with all the necessary information. The increased service life of the aircraft is achieved through the use of polymeric materials.
