By 2030, Russia plans to increase ship production by more than 10 times compared to 2024. This follows from the unified plan to achieve the national development goals of the country for the period up to 2030 and for the longer term — up to 2036.
According to the document, it is planned to build 60 ships in 2024, 105 in 2025, 235 in 2026, 378 in 2027, 493 in 2028, 563 in 2029, and 638 in 2030.
By 2030, the share of Russian components for ships should increase to 40% from the current 34%.
The plans include achieving certain results through the formation of a scientific and technical base for the development and production of sea and river vessels for civilian purposes. Funding is also provided for part of the costs associated with the construction of large vessels.
To achieve the set goals, part of the costs for the construction of new civilian vessels will be subsidized in exchange for those that were sent for disposal. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been appointed responsible for achieving the indicators.
