ГТЛК и «Спутникс» подписали договор о поставке трёх космических аппаратов

The agreement concerns the "Zorkiy-2M" device designed for remote sensing of the Earth

The State Transport Leasing Company and "Sputnix" have entered into an agreement for the supply of three "Zorkiy-2M" spacecraft. This agreement is the result of cooperation between the companies, which began on the sidelines of "Transport Week 2024." At that time, the parties signed a leasing agreement.

The "Zorkiy-2M" spacecraft is a new model of the "CubeSat 12U" format satellite, which is designed for remote observation of the Earth.

A distinctive feature of this spacecraft is the use of a multispectral camera with a higher resolution. The camera is capable of shooting in four spectral ranges with a resolution of 2.75 meters per pixel. In addition, the device has an improved data transfer rate to Earth.

The satellite is also equipped with a receiver that allows it to receive signals from sea vessels and transmit them to ground stations. This is necessary for monitoring and ensuring the safety of navigation, including along the Northern Sea Route.

The "CubeSat 12U" satellite being created has dimensions with folded solar panels of about 20x20x30 cm and a weight of approximately 20 kg.

At the end of November, the first agreement in Russia was concluded for the supply of three "Zorkiy-2M" satellites under lease. According to Evgeny Dietrich, General Director of GTLK, the company has been working for more than a year to introduce unmanned aircraft systems in various fields and sees significant potential in integrating scenarios for using spacecraft with unmanned aerial vehicles.

Vladislav Ivanenko, General Director of "Sputnix", emphasized that the contract, under which the leasing company provides funding for the development of space technology, has become unique for the Russian space industry. This case opens up new opportunities for state and private companies involved in the development of satellites, and allows them to increase the production of promising spacecraft for civilian use.
