The Radar Design Bureau spoke about the advantages of the Optima-2.2M mobile electronic warfare system. The system is designed to create suppression zones for the navigation field and radio channels.
Its task is to create a controlled "information vacuum" for GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou navigation systems and Wi-Fi channels.
Key features of "Optima-2.2M":
- Satellite navigation suppression radius - at least 30 km, Wi-Fi - at least 1.5 km
- Deployment/folding speed - no more than 12 minutes
- Power - 40 W (for each frequency range and sector)
The system operates from an industrial power grid or its own generator. Control is remote. Circular protection is provided with coverage of the upper hemisphere.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Belarus strengthened its electronic warfare arsenal: the latest Groza-6, Groza-Z1 and Optima-2.2 systems have entered service with the troops.
