"Power Machines" launched the production of cast blades for gas turbine engines at new facilities

The plant has completely replaced the import of critical components

The St. Petersburg plant "Power Machines" has completed the complete import substitution of gas turbine production and launched an advanced complex in St. Petersburg for the production of cast blades - one of the key components of gas turbine plants. This was announced by the Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg Kirill Polyakov, emphasizing that the enterprise has become a striking example of the large-scale modernization of the domestic machine-building sector.

According to Kirill Polyakov, in the next five years, "Power Machines" intends to invest 75 billion rubles in expanding and updating production facilities. The investments will increase the annual production of gas turbines to ten units, double the production of equipment for nuclear power plants and increase the production of steam power equipment for thermal generation by one and a half times.

The new foundry complex will not only ensure the technological independence of the company, but also increase the competitiveness of the Russian power engineering industry in the global market.
