About 43% of organizations in Russia already use artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in their activities. Since 2021, the average level of AI use in various sectors of the economy and social sphere has doubled. This was reported by the National Center for the Development of AI under the government and VTsIOM.
Since that time (since 2021, when the index of readiness of economic sectors for the introduction of AI began to be calculated - note by TASS), the average level of use of AI technologies in economic sectors and social sectors has doubled. About 43% of organizations use it in their activities.
The financial services sector is actively moving towards the industrial application of AI. In 2024, 36% of surveyed organizations reported a significant economic effect from its use, while in 2021 there were only 14%. 38% of organizations have plans to implement and develop AI, but only 7% of respondents are fully provided with the necessary data for its effective use.
The AI readiness index is currently 3.5 points out of a possible 10, which is 0.3 points higher than in 2021. The study indicates that with the rapid growth in the use of artificial intelligence, more and more resources are required - both human and financial, as well as infrastructure for developing and supporting solutions.
Earlier www1.ru reported that new industrial robots with AI will start to be produced in Moscow.
