Specialists from PJSC "Yakovlev", in collaboration with the Moscow Institute of Electromechanics and Automation, have created algorithms for an automatic control system (ACS) for the domestic SJ-100 aircraft. This was reported by the press service of Rostec State Corporation.
We have successfully conducted preliminary tests of the ACS, implemented as part of the FCS, on the "Electronic Bird" integration stand with the participation of engineers and test pilots. The next step is to install the system on aircraft and conduct flight refinement and certification tests.
The developed algorithms are consistent with those used on modern passenger aircraft. They will allow for director control during takeoff and fully automatic control during all other phases of flight, as well as a number of other tasks.
A special feature of the new development is the automatic landing algorithms according to category CATIIIB. It involves automatic control at the stages of alignment and landing, as well as maintaining the direction of movement of the aircraft along the centerline of the runway.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the developer of Superjet 100 and MC-21 aircraft was denied permission to export equipment for repair abroad.
