The crew of the Mi-28NM reconnaissance and attack helicopter ("Night Hunter", produced by Rostvertol) struck enemy fortifications and equipment with S-13OFS1 unguided air-to-surface missiles (NAR). This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev. He also spoke about the features of missiles of this type.

According to Damantsev, the helicopter launched an S-13OFS1 unguided rocket with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead weighing 38 kg at a distance of more than 7,500 m. The fire was conducted in a pitching mode (an aviation term that means turning an aircraft flying with its nose raised around the transverse axis).

The initial speed of these unguided rockets reaches 600+ m/s, while the advanced ballistic computer provides a hit accuracy of 35 m on the side and about 250 - 300 m in range at the maximum distance.
