Конкуренты для Airbus и Boeing: семь российских самолётов находятся на стадии сертификации

Characteristics of Russian aviation developments, in particular, the MC-21 and Superjet, are on par with foreign ones

This was stated by Alexander Dolotovsky, Deputy General Director of PJSC "Yakovlev" and Director of the MC-21 program, at a meeting of the Public Council under Rosaviatsiya.

I want to dispel all doubts and emphasize that the characteristics of the new MC-21 and Superjet aircraft allow them to be operated with profitability on par with foreign competitors. After-sales support for our products is also one of the key priorities for our company, and we have accumulated sufficient expertise and deployed the necessary services based on our experience operating the SSJ-100.
Alexander Dolotovsky, Deputy General Director of PJSC "Yakovlev", Director of the MC-21 program

Dmitry Kopysov, Head of the Aviation Equipment Certification Department of Rosaviatsiya, noted at the same meeting that seven priority projects of domestic aircraft are currently awaiting certification: MC-21, RRJ-95NEW-100 — import-substituted SJ-100, Il-114-300, Tu-214, LMS-901 "Baikal", TVRS-44, LMS-192 "Osvei".

New types of domestic engines are also awaiting the end of certification: VK-800S, PD-8, VK-650V.

According to Kopysov, the increase in certification times is due to the increase in the amount of work on certification of Russian aviation equipment in general. Now it is necessary to develop and certify new aviation equipment for import substitution projects, new types of aircraft, engines, and modifications of aircraft.
