The prototype of the Il-114-300 aircraft has received a new corporate livery of the United Aircraft Corporation. Domestically produced paints were used for the coating, Rostec noted.
After the completion of painting, the aircraft continued flight tests. Currently, the aircraft has already performed more than 30 flights. Some of them lasted more than seven hours.
The tests confirm convergence with calculations, the aircraft demonstrates excellent flight characteristics. Currently, UAC is preparing to start certification tests of the aircraft.
The Il-114-300 is a regional passenger aircraft with a maximum capacity of 68 seats, which will replace the An-24 on local airlines. The Il-114-300 will be able to operate autonomously from relatively small airfields with both unpaved and paved surfaces.
The aircraft is equipped with a TV7-117ST-01 engine, which has undergone a series of modifications. A new TA 14-114 auxiliary power unit has been installed on board, which will ensure the autonomy of the aircraft during preparation for flight and maintenance at poorly equipped airfields.
