Will bring down enemy drones: Vityaz military vehicle with Volnorez mobile electronic warfare system developed in Russia

This vehicle is designed for reconnaissance groups and special operations forces

A special light military vehicle "Vityaz" equipped with the "Volnorez" mobile electronic warfare system has been developed in Russia. ООО "Argo" developers took the chassis of the UAZ-469 car as a basis, but instead of a gasoline engine, they installed a diesel engine with a capacity of about 100 hp.

Combat vehicles with gasoline engines have various complex electronic control systems. They fail under constant operation and dirt. And in the new car, anyone with a technical education will be able to quickly figure it out and get the engine in order.
Konstantin Bagdasarov, General Director of ООО "Argo"

The chassis is equipped with both a stationary and a mobile "Volnorez" electronic warfare system. The vehicle can carry anti-aircraft machine gun mounts paired with a large-caliber KPVT machine gun.

In the near future, the car will go to the test site for testing. There, the operation of the electronic warfare system and the stated technical characteristics will be checked. The length of the Volnorez electronic warfare system is 484 millimeters, and the weight is 13 kilograms. Thanks to the magnetic "Velcro", it can be installed on any military armored vehicle.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the modernized Ka-27M helicopters arrived into service with the Pacific Fleet in Primorye. They are designed for anti-submarine warfare.
