New Russian smartphone based on KasperskyOS appears

Device testing was successful

At the "System Electric" summit, the head of Kaspersky Lab, Evgeny Kaspersky, showed a domestic smartphone running on the KasperskyOS operating system. Previously, the platform was tested on devices manufactured in Asia — now also on Russian-made smartphones.

It works. The hardware is "Aquarius". All the software, the operating system, starting from the bootloader— everything is ours

Representatives of Kaspersky also emphasized that the operating system will work on devices with certain technical requirements. However, these requirements have not yet been announced.

It is known that Kaspersky Lab previously collaborated with Aquarius on a project to create a secure smartphone for the military — Aquarius NS M11, which was presented in December 2021. But in 2022, the company left the project. It is likely that Evgeny Kaspersky has a personal smartphone from those developments.

Also, an image appeared online showing what the Kaspersky operating system looks like on a mobile device.
