The editor-in-chief of the magazine "Za Rulem", Maxim Kadakov, filmed tow trucks with the new Solaris HS on the roads of Moscow. The cars are being delivered to dealerships. The nameplates on the cars were covered with camouflage film. The journalist found this strange and decided to visit a dealer to see the new Solaris HS live.
I was intrigued by the fact that these cars had their emblems covered on the body – and with a "camouflage" checkered film, so that the shape could not be guessed. Where has it been seen that emblems are covered like this? I went to the dealer. I looked at the Solaris HS sedans. It turns out that the emblems are not Solaris at all. You can even feel it by hand.
Thus, the "old" emblem with the letter H — Hyundai remained on the body, wheels, windows and in the cabin, and even the identification stickers on the windows do not differ from those that were on the cars before. The journalist believes that as soon as the cars are sold out and they get lost in the traffic, no one will ask what kind of "Solaris" a person has — old or new.
These "Solaris-Hyundai" will be sold – and they will dissolve among thousands of similar ones, no one will even ask what kind of car it is – it's just a "Solaris" or "Solaris-Solaris"
The journalist also refuted the earlier information that there are no new "Solaris" cars on free sale. According to him, the demand for cars is high, but they are still available. Come and buy. However, dealers say that you need to hurry, because there is a great demand for Solaris HS among corporate clients.
What about prices?
Kadakov reported that a car in the Active Plus configuration (basic version) with a 1.6-liter engine and a six-speed automatic transmission will cost 2 million rubles when purchased for cash. With the Comfort + Winter package, it is 150 thousand more expensive. The editor-in-chief of "Za Rulem" notes that different dealers set slightly different prices.
