Roscosmos shared photos of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket today. It was installed in a vertical position at the launch complex of the 31st site of the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
Soyuz-2.1a will send the Progress MS-24 space truck to the ISS. The launch is scheduled for 04:08 Moscow time on August 23.
Progress MS-24 will deliver 2495 kg of cargo to the ISS, including 500 kg of fuel for refueling the station, 420 kg of drinking water and 40 kg of nitrogen, as well as 1535 kg of resource equipment and tools, packages for experiments, clothing, and food for the crew.
As a reminder, today Roscosmos announced the crash of the Luna-25 space station, which was sent to Earth's natural satellite on August 11.
