FSUE "Rosmorport" announced an auction for the sale of the sea tug "Khasanets" (Project 498 "Saturn"), decommissioned in 2023. The initial lot price is almost 5.5 million rubles. The relevant information appeared on the RTS-Tender website.

The tug is registered in the port of Vanino (Khabarovsk Krai). The vessel is designed for towing and berthing operations in ports, roadsteads, and coastal areas.

Applications will begin to be reviewed on September 8. The auction will be held on September 10. Rosmorport already tried to sell "Khasanets" in February 2024. At that time, the initial price of the lot was 1.87 million rubles. However, no buyers were found.

• Speed — 10 knots

The vessel was built in 1980 at the Gorokhovets Shipyard (Vladimir Oblast, the enterprise emerged from bankruptcy in 2026). The tug can operate in ice up to 20 cm thick.
