The cost of new Russian aircraft MC-21, SJ-100, and Tu-214 has increased by tens of percent over three years. Concurrently, delivery times have shifted to the end of the decade.

The Tu-214 saw the steepest price increase. While in 2023 one aircraft was estimated at 3.2 billion rubles, its cost has now reached 6 billion rubles. The increase was about 86%.

The price of one MC-21 airliner increased from 3.1–3.3 billion rubles to 5.34 billion rubles. The aircraft's cost rose by approximately 65%.

The fully import-substituted SJ-100 also became more expensive. Previously, the cost of one aircraft was about 2.3 billion rubles, but now it has reached 3.78 billion rubles. The increase was 57%.

Delivery times have also changed. The first SJ-100s were supposed to be delivered to airlines by the end of 2023, but their handover is now expected only in the summer of 2026. Deliveries of MC-21 and Tu-214 have been extended until 2028–2029.
