The Main Department of State Expertise issued a positive conclusion on the project of PAO "Tupolev" logistics center in Kazan. The documents were officially registered on July 10.

The new center will be built on Dementyeva Street; "Tupolev" itself will act as the developer. The project documentation for the facility was prepared by the local company "Fortex".

The new logistics complex will become part of a major modernization of the Kazan Aviation Plant.

A total of three such centers will be built; the total area will be 90 thousand square meters. The new hub is necessary to increase the volume of serial production of Tu-214 to 20 units per year.

By the end of 2026, KAZ planned to build at least four new Tu-214s. However, at the moment, the plant has delivered only one airliner and another one is under assembly.
