TANTK named after Beriev plans to install PD-8 engines on amphibious aircraft

Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G. M. Beriev (TANTK) is preparing production facilities for the manufacture of a modernized Be-200 aircraft. This was announced by the head of the city, Svetlana Kambolova.

She pointed out the need to attract young specialists to TANTK named after Beriev. The average salary at the plant is over 75 thousand rubles.

Despite difficult conditions, the enterprise continues to implement the project for the modernization of the Be-200 and its re-engining with Russian PD-8 engines. Work is underway to prepare production for the release of the updated aircraft.

It should be recalled that by the end of 2025, TANTK named after Beriev incurred a net loss of over 5 billion rubles.

Exports collapsed by 78%, but the enterprise intends to continue financial and economic activities.
