A-100 "Premier" aircraft plant determined its future after a 5 billion ruble nosedive

TANTK Beriev intends to continue economic activity amidst huge losses

PAO "Taganrog Aviation Scientific and Technical Complex named after G.M. Beriev" (TANTK) reported a net loss of over 5 billion rubles for 2025, compared to a profit of 1.19 billion rubles in 2024. Despite this, the enterprise intends to continue its financial and economic activities.

The "Bloknot" publication noted that the plant's board of directors, amidst huge losses, initiated processes to change the managing organization. The shareholders' vote took place on April 21 in absentia, and its results are not yet known.

To stabilize the situation, Nikolay Savitskikh was appointed managing director in March 2026. He was tasked with preserving the unique competencies of hydroaviation and bringing the plant out of its nosedive.

TANTK named after Beriev is part of the United Aircraft Corporation and builds Be-200 amphibious aircraft, which will receive PD-8 engines in the future.

The enterprise also had the A-100 "Premier" long-range radar surveillance and control aircraft in development. Even one flight prototype was released, but its current status is unknown.

In December 2025, the Central Bank exempted the enterprise from the obligation to disclose information about financial activities at the request of shareholders.
