JSC "Rosatom Service" and its subsidiary LLC "AtomIntelMash" have started development work to create a Russian control system (CS) for industrial manipulation robots. The goal is to replace foreign solutions in industrial automation.
The project was presented in the technical specifications published on the public procurement portal on December 19, 2025. The total budget is 31.7 million rubles. The initiative is being implemented within the framework of the federal project "Development of Industrial Robotics and Production Automation", as well as the national project "Means of Production and Automation".
The work is divided into two stages:
- Analysis of requirements, development of CS architecture, formation of technical specifications and justification of the choice of component base.
- Until June 1, 2026 — creation of working documentation, manufacturing of a laboratory sample and its testing. If shortcomings are identified — revision.
The system should control manipulators with a lifting capacity of 5–210 kg with a working area of up to 3.2 m, support a minimum of 27 axes, provide an interpolation cycle of ≤250 μs, positioning accuracy of 0.001 mm, and a mean time between failures of at least 50,000 hours.
The development process should use exclusively domestic components included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. If Russian analogues are not available, foreign components may be used, but only after prior agreement with the customer.
The software part includes drivers, communication protocols, trajectory planning algorithms, kinematics, obstacle avoidance, and diagnostics. The use of open-source solutions with commercial licenses is allowed.
All documentation is developed taking into account the requirements of GOST R 15.301-2016, as well as the standards of ESKD, ESTD and ESPD. The acceptance process is carried out on the basis of a complete set of reports, drawings, three-dimensional models and test reports.
