Geoscan Creates Navigation That Unites All Robots in the Class into a Single Environment

Educational drones and ground robots will be able to work in a single ecosystem

The Geoscan Group has introduced a universal version of the Geoscan Locus ultrasonic navigation system designed for educational robotics. The solution allows you to combine drones and ground robots from different manufacturers, including both domestic and foreign models, into a single environment.

According to the company, the new system helps educational institutions utilize the entire previously purchased robotics fleet and expand the number of scenarios for classes. This increases the variability of educational programs and allows for the creation of more complex educational projects.

Geoscan noted that universal navigation solves the problem of incompatibility of different robotic kits. Previously, equipment often worked in isolation, like phones with different charging connectors. The new system unites the "zoo" of robots into a single platform, facilitating the learning process and promoting the transition to domestic solutions.

The Geoscan Locus system provides local navigation indoors, determines the coordinates, speed, and direction of movement of robots. It is used for educational and gaming scenarios on training grounds, creating a safe and controlled environment for experiments and practical exercises.
