More than 440 foreigners were fined for providing false information as part of a pilot project with the "Amina" mobile application. This is reported in the materials of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, prepared for a briefing on digital reforms in the field of migration control.
They were prosecuted under Article 19.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for providing false information. The introduction of the application has significantly increased the effectiveness of control, which creates safer conditions for both residents and visitors of the capital, the security forces emphasized.
The "Amina" application is positioned not as an instrument of restrictions, but as a means of improving convenience and comfort, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes.
On September 1, a project also started in the Moscow region, designed to replace the current system of registering foreign citizens. Now migrants from a number of countries, including Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Moldova and Ukraine, are required to install the "Amina" application upon arrival in Moscow and the Moscow region for work. It allows you to track the location of labor migrants who arrive in the Moscow region.
