The first photos of the modernized UAZ "Patriot" have appeared online. The most noticeable change is completely new LED headlights and taillights, reports the "AvtoPotok" portal. The photos show mock-up samples created using bypass technology, but serial versions of these elements should go into production in the coming weeks.
In addition to the external update, the "Patriot" has also received technical improvements. A 2-liter turbodiesel developed by the Chinese company JAC is now installed under the hood, which is combined with a six-speed manual transmission from the same manufacturer.
According to sources, this engine will provide better dynamics, fuel efficiency and reduce the level of vibrations compared to the previous power plants of the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant.
The official premiere of the modernized SUV will take place on December 11 in Moscow as part of the annual "Sollers Product Day" event. At it, the company will present all the changes and talk about further plans to update the UAZ model line.
