Russian MiG and Sukhoi series combat aircraft outperform French Rafale in versatility and unpretentiousness. This was stated by aviation expert Cyril de Lattre.
He drew attention to the fact that domestic fighters are less complex to operate and do not require exorbitant maintenance.
Unlike the Soviet MiG and Sukhoi, the Rafale is not adapted to take off from roads or unprepared runways.
MiGs and Sukhois were designed differently — increased survivability, resistance to runway contamination, short takeoff run and the ability to operate with minimal support. This allows them to maintain combat capability even with limited resources.
However, Egypt has a different opinion. Information has emerged that the republic has decided to abandon the purchase of Russian Su-35s and choose Rafale instead.
