The United Aircraft Corporation (part of Rostec Group) has manufactured and delivered another batch of Su-30SM2 multirole fighters to the Russian Ministry of Defense as part of the State Defense Order.
The aircraft have successfully passed the full cycle of ground and flight tests and have been sent to their place of further service.
Rostec noted that the Su-30SM2 is considered one of the most effective Russian fighters. The machine is distinguished by high maneuverability, improved flight performance and a wide range of weapons, including long-range weapons.
Equipped with a powerful radar station and a modern electronic warfare system, the new modification provides the crew with more accurate target detection and reliable protection against enemy weapons.
Following the modernization carried out according to the technical specifications of the Ministry of Defense, the Su-30SM2 received an updated set of onboard equipment, an improved electronic warfare system and new types of aviation weapons, which significantly increased the combat capabilities of the aircraft.
The naval aviation of the Russian Navy reported that the crews accepted the new aircraft as part of the implementation of the tasks set by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation.
The Su-30SM2 is called one of the most modern combat vehicles, providing protection of air borders along the entire perimeter of the state border.
