The FSB has uncovered a large-scale embezzlement scheme in the execution of a state defense order by the Rostov plant "10-GPZ". According to financial экспертизы, the damage to the budget amounted to at least 2.2 billion rubles.
The defendants turned out to be the owners of the enterprise, a former deputy head of Rosstandart, employees of the plant, and the head of the military representative office of the Ministry of Defense. According to the investigation, they supplied products at prices inflated by 3–8 times.
Previously, the extent of the damage was estimated at 811 million rubles. However, a new экспертиза increased the amount by more than twofold — to 2.2 billion.
The fraudulent chain could cover several Russian enterprises. In addition to "10-GPZ", "GPZ-2 Tver" and JSC "OK-Loza" from Sergiev Posad were under suspicion.
In 2024, searches were conducted at the factories, at the military representatives, and at the homes of the managers. The change of ownership of "10-GPZ" also attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies: 97% of the shares were transferred to JSC "KIMP", registered in May 2024, which simultaneously gained control over "GPZ-2 Tver".
Investigators opened cases under the articles "Bribery", "Official Forgery", and "Fraud".
