«Разрушено многое, но пока не все». Экс-конструктор Ту-204 назвал состояние дел в авиапроме

The country will need another 10 years to fully restore scientific, technical, and production work

The Russian aviation industry is not in the best condition, and many competencies have to be restored almost from scratch. This was stated by the former chief designer of Tu-204 and its modifications, Oleg Alasheev.

He recalled that Germany was forbidden to even think about aviation after the Second World War. It took them about 40 years to resume scientific, technical, and production work.

I assume that we do not have such a failure, but it will take at least 10 years. Much has been destroyed, but not everything yet. Is it realistic to restore? I am more optimistic.
Oleg Alasheev, former chief designer of Tu-204

Alasheev admitted that he has a negative attitude towards the idea that people not from the industry can be leaders of the aviation industry from the middle to the highest levels. He stressed that aircraft should be built by aircraft builders - from the very bottom to the top.

Now, it seems, there is an understanding, for example, Alexander Bobryshev was returned to Tupolev, although I have a poor idea of how it is possible to combine the management of an aircraft manufacturing company and a huge amount of work on combat aviation.

The head of the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers, Alexey Rogozin, stated that Russia plans to build a thousand aircraft by 2030.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia will earn billions of dollars for the aviation industry by producing SJ-100 abroad.
