The Aeroflot Group has successfully passed the Rosaviatsiya audit and received a certificate of compliance with FAR-145. The document expands the company's technical capabilities in terms of repairing CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B engines installed on Airbus A320ceo and Boeing 737NG aircraft.
According to the certificate, the company's engineers can perform repairs on the rotor and stator of the high-pressure compressor, the high-pressure turbine, as well as replace the turbine and low-pressure compressor modules.
Today, the Aeroflot Group's fleet operates 93 Boeing 737NG aircraft and 110 Airbus A320ceo family aircraft. Obtaining approval will reduce dependence on third-party service centers and increase the technological autonomy of the national carrier.
It is worth noting that Aeroflot is the first in line to receive the new promising MC-21-310 aircraft. The carrier intends to receive more than 100 aircraft by 2030 alone, according to the head of the company, Sergei Alexandrovsky. In the meantime, Boeing and Airbus have to be repaired on their own.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a Rostec commission with Serdyukov and UAC visited the production of the PD-8 engine.
